Spam videos intend people to click on fake news link about the missing Malaysia Airlines jet have been spreading malware on Facebook.
The fake ‘breaking news’ clips, which falsely claim the missing plane has been found, have been cluttering users’ timelines the week. One fake video has the headline: ‘Malaysia Plane MH370 Has Been Spotted Somewhere Near Bermuda Triangle.

When users click on the fake video link they are encouraged to share the clip and like a page before they start watching video, according to sources.
The sources says hackers are taking advantage of the huge interest of people in the story to spread malware on the social network and direct users’ to malicious websites.
